Seminar: Sustainable Innovation at Bevi with Sean Grundy, MBA 2013
February 22, 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM
E62-223

Bevi is a beverage technology company that has raised $28M in venture capital and is (probably) the fastest growing beverage company in the country. The company's mission is to entirely eliminate disposable bottles and cans by making it possible to get any beverage directly from a faucet. Their co-founder Sean will talk about his path developing and scaling an environmental start-up, the pros and cons of having a social or environmental mission, and how to fundraise in today's VC environment. He'll discuss the challenges in trying to staying true to Bevi's environmental mission while facing increasing external pressure. For more information and to RSVP, see the Sloan Sustainability Initiative Website
